पथसे गमन करते हुए आज मैंने प्रमादवश एकेन्द्रिय आदि जीवों की विराधना की हो और यदि चार हाथसे अधिक दृष्टि पसारी हो तो वह मेरा पाप गुरुभक्तिसे मिथ्या हो । यह श्लोक पढ़कर ईर्यापथ शुद्धि करे ॥ ४ ॥
'मुखवस्त्रोद्घाटन-
क्वणत्कनकघण्टिकं विमलचीनपट्टोज्वलं बहुप्रकटवर्णकं कुशलशिल्पिभिर्निर्मितम् । जिनेन्द्रचरणाम्बुजद्वयं समर्चनीयं मया .. समस्तदुरितापहृद्वदनवस्त्रमुध्दाव्यते ॥ ५ ॥

ॐ ह्रीं मुखमुध्दाटयामि स्वाहा || मुखवस्त्रोध्दाटनम् ॥ ५ ॥
श्रीजिनेन्द्र देवके दोनों चरण कमलों की पूजा करने की मेरी इच्छा है इसलिए मैं जिसमें टन
! टन शब्द करनेवाली सोने की घंटिया लगी हुई हैं, जो निर्मल उज्वल रेशमी है, नाना भांतिके रंगों से रंगा हुआ है. चतुर कारीगर के हाथका बना हुआ है ऐसे समस्त पापोंको, अपहरण करने वाले मुख वस्त्र ( जिनभगवानके मुखपर पढ़े हुए पर्दे ) को एक ओर सरकाता हूँ । यह श्लोक और मंत्र पढ कर मुखवस्त्र को हटावे ॥ ५ ॥

श्रीमुखावलोकन:---
श्रीमुखालोकनादेव श्रीमुखालोकनं भवेत् । आलोकन विहीनस्य तत्सुखावाप्तयः कुतः ॥ ६ ॥
श्री जिनेन्द्र देवके मुखावलोकन मात्र से ही लक्ष्मी के मुखका अवलोकन होता है अर्थात् उत्तम सम्पदा मिलती है। जो पुरुष कभी जिन भगवान के दर्शन नहीं करते उनको श्रीमुख का अवलोकन रूपी सुख की प्राप्ति नहीं होती -वे मरकर दरिद्री होते हैं ॥ ६ ॥
ॐ हाँ अर्ह नमोऽर्हत्परमेष्ठिभ्यः श्रीमुखावलोकनेन मम सर्वशान्तिर्भवतु स्वाहा ॥

यह मंत्र पढ़ कर श्री जिनदेवके मुखारविन्दका दर्शन करे ॥ ६ ॥
यागभूमिप्रवेश—
