The method of building a house. One should build one's house far from the homes of people of different castes, mlecchas (foreigners/Muslims), and Shudras. One should not allow the contact of wood smoke, etc. with one's house, nor should one build one's wall adjoining their walls.
For their voice is heard to be indicative of violence, etc. You too should be such that there is no contact with hair, bone, or skin.
One should avoid the lower part of the water flow of their houses. And one should also avoid the houses of the arrogant, sinful, and those addicted to bad company.
One should not build a house at the outskirts of the city, for the entry of dogs, pigs, and others is not conducive to happiness.
The crowded path, defiled by leftover food, urine, etc., should be avoided. One should keep distance from the association of prostitutes, thieves, and tigers, etc.
