સામગ્રી :
आत्मश्रेयस्करी नून परलोकात्ममोक्षधीः । तच्श्रद्धाविरहेऽपि स्यात् सदाचारवतः शुभम् ।।
* પરલેક, આત્મા અને મોક્ષની બુદ્ધિ-તે વિષેની શ્રદ્ધા અત્યંત ઉપયેગી છે અને અવશ્ય કલ્યાણકર છે. પરંતુ જે સજજનને તે વિષે પ્રામાણિકપણે વિચારવિમર્શ કરવા છતાં શ્રદ્ધા જામતી નથી, છતાં ય તે જે બરાબર સદાચરણપરાયણ હશે તે તેનું પણ કલ્યાણ થવાનું જ નહિ, તે કલ્યાણના માર્ગ પર જ ચાલી રહ્યો છે. ૩૩
* Belief in the existence of soul, the other world and liberation of soul, is, indeed, conducive to, and accelerates, beatitude. Yet, even in the absence of such belief if a person is devoted to right conduct, he will, surely attain beatitude, nay, he has already been treading the path to beatitude. 33
