मानो दुरदशित्व मादेव च विवेकिता । मृदुत्वे चान्तरी शान्तिर्मानो भारश्च पीडकः ।।

અભિમાન જે દરદશી ન હેાય તેને આવે છે અને જ્યાં વિવેકદૃષ્ટિ છે તેને મૃદુતા વરે છે. મૃદુતામાં આન્તરિક શાન્તિ છે, જ્યારે અભિમાન એક પીડારૂપ ભાર છે. ૨૨

Arrogance results from little understanding, while gentleness is the out-come of discretion. There is internal peace in tenderness, while arrogance is a troublesome load on the mind. 22.
