* Slaves to sensual pleasures are engrossed in hoarding property, though they know that they are to die in a short time. 4
* And being hard-heartedly addicted to hoarding property, they commit more and more sins and increase their downfall. 5
* How wretched will those wicked persons devoid of the wealth of Dharma, be in the next birth where they will go after death? 6
* It is unanimously admitted by all the wise men of the universe that misery results from sin (bad actions) and happiness, from merit (good actions) So one should be endowed with good character to be happy in the next world, 7
The greatest Dharma is right conduct whereby is attained steady happiness in this very life, and also all the future lives are gifted with progressive happiness as well as welfare. 8
