३. ' नवपुण्यैः प्रतिपत्तिः ' इत्यादि दानस्वरूपप्रतिपादक पद्यकी टीकामें, * दानं दातव्यं कैः कृत्वा नव पुण्यैः' इन शब्दोंके साथ ( अनन्तर ) नीचे लिखी गाथा उद्धृत की गई है, और उसके बाद ही 'एतै वामेः पुण्यैः पुण्योपार्जनहेतुभिः' ये शब्द दिये हैं, और इस तरहपर 'नवपुण्यैः' पदकी व्याख्या की गई है
पाडगहमुच्चहाणं पादोदयमच्चणं च पणमं च।।
मणवयणकायसुद्धी एसणसुद्धी य णवविहं पुण्णं ॥ ___ यह गाथा वसुनन्दि आचार्यके उस 'उपासकाध्ययन' शास्त्रकी है जिसे 'वसुनन्दि-श्रावकाचार' भी कहते हैं और उसमें नं० २२४ पर पाई जाती है । जान पड़ता है टीकाकारने इसमें मूलके अनुरूप ही 'नवपुण्यं ' संज्ञाका प्रयोग देखकर इसे यहाँ पर उद्धृत किया है; अन्यथा, वह यशस्तिलकके 'श्रद्धा तुष्टिः' इत्यादि पद्यको उद्धृत करते हुए उसके साथके दूसरे प्रतिग्रहोचासन'* पद्यको भी उद्धृत कर सकता था। परंतु उसमें इन ९ बातोंको 'नवोपचार ' संज्ञा दी है जिसका यहाँ 'नवपुण्यैः' पदकी व्याख्यामें मेल नहीं था। इसके सिवाय और भी कुछ विशेषता थी। इस लिये टीकाकारने जानबूझकर उसे छोड़ा और उसके स्थान पर इस गाथाको देना पसंद किया है। अस्तु; अब देखना चाहिये कि जिन वसुनन्दि सैद्धान्तिकके ग्रंथकी यह गाथा है वे कब हुए हैं । वसुनन्दिने मूलाचार ग्रंथकी अपनी 'आचारवृत्ति' टीकाके आठवें परिच्छेदमें, कायोत्सर्गके चार भेदोंका वर्णन करते हुए, ' स्यागो देहममत्वस्य तनूत्स. तिरुदाहृता......इत्यादि पाँच श्लोक 'उक्तं च' रूपसे दिये हैं और उनके अन्तमें लिखा है कि 'उपासकाचारे उक्तमास्ते' अर्थात् , यह कथन ' उपासकाचार' का है। यह उपासकाचार ग्रंथ जिसके आठवें परिच्छेदमें उक्त पाँचों श्लोक उसी क्रमको लिये नं ० ५७ से ६१ तक पाये जाते हैं, श्रीअमितगति आचार्यका बनाया हुआ है, जो विक्रमकी ११ वीं शताब्दीके विद्वान् थे और जिन्होंने वि० सं० १०७० में अपने 'धर्मपरीक्षा' ग्रंथको बनाकर समाप्त किया है। 'उपासकाचार' भी उसी वक्तके करीबका बना हुआ ग्रंथ है। इससे वसु...* यह पूरा- पद्य इस प्रकार है
