103. That which is undesirable, one should renounce. If it is for the prevention of sin, then by oneself or by another, one should be free from attachment and aversion, detached from the world and the non-world, free from the desire for killing, binding, and cutting, free from the desire for superior possessions, free from the mental activities of the crows, endowed with the power of knowledge and perception, free from the intoxication of the objects, free from the desire for objects, beyond the subjugation of objects, removing the calamities, free from the dislike of activities, free from old age, disease, decay, cold, heat, gadflies, mosquitoes, grief, fear, and despondency, and having faith in the ultimate truths. The words of the layman are also the words of the gods. Śrīṣeṇa and Vṛṣabhasena, or even the god himself, is a dog.
