राज्ञा व्याहूतः श्रेष्ठी, सच भीतः राज्ञः समीपमायातः । राजा च गौरव कृत्वा वृषभसेनां परिणेतुं स याचितः । ततः श्रेष्ठिना भणितं देव ! यद्यष्टाह्निकां पूजां जिनप्रतिमानां करोषि तथा पंजरस्थान् पक्षिगणान् मुञ्चसि तथा गुप्तिषु सर्वमनुष्यांश्च मुञ्चसि तदा ददामि । उग्रसेनेन च तत् सर्वं कृत्वा परिणीता वृषभसेना पट्टराज्ञी च कृता । अतिवलभया तयैव च सह विमुक्तानाकार्य क्रीडां करोति । एतस्मिन् प्रस्तावे यो वाराणस्याः पृथिवीचन्द्रो नाम राजा धृत आस्ते सोऽतिप्रचण्डत्वात्तद्विवाहकालेऽपि न मुक्तः । ततस्तस्य या राज्ञी नारायणदत्ता तया मंत्रिभिः सह मंत्रयित्वा पृथिवीचन्द्रमोचनार्थ वाराणस्यां सर्वत्रावाारितसत्कारा वृषभसेनाराज्ञी नाम्ना कारिता, तेषु भोजनं कृत्वा कावेरीपत्तनं ये गतास्तेभ्यो ब्राह्मणादिभ्यस्तं वृत्तान्तमाकर्ण्य रुष्टया रूपवत्या भणिता वृषभसेने त्वं मामपृच्छन्ती वाराणस्यां कथं सत्कारान् कारयसि ? तया भणितमहं न कारयामि किन्तु मम नाम्ना केनचित्कारणेन केनापि कारिताः तेषां शुद्धिं कुरु त्वमिति चरपुरुषैः कृत्वा यथार्थ ज्ञात्वा तया वृषभसेनायाः सर्वं कथितम् । तया च राजानं विज्ञाप्य मोचितः पृथ्वीचन्द्रः । तेन च चित्रफलके वृषभसेनोग्रसेनयो रूपे कारिते। तयोरधो निजरूपं सप्रणामं कारितम् । स फलकस्तयोर्दर्शितः भणिता च वृषभसेना राज्ञी-देवि! त्वं मम मातासि त्वत्प्रसादादिदं जन्म सफलं मे जातं। तत उग्रसेनः सन्मानं दत्वा भणितवान् त्वया मेघपिंगलस्योपरि गंतव्य. मित्युक्त्वा स च ताभ्यां वाराणस्यां प्रेषितः । मेघपिंगलोऽप्येतदाकर्ण्य ममायं पृथ्वीचन्द्रो मर्मभेदीति पर्यालोच्यागत्य चोग्रसेनस्यातिप्रसादितः सामन्तो जातः । उग्रसेनेन चास्थानस्थितस्य यन्गे प्राभृतमागच्छति तस्यार्धे मेघपिंगलस्य दास्यामि अर्धे च वृषभसेनाया इति व्यवस्था कृता । एवमेकदा रत्नकंबलद्वयमागतमेकैकं सनामाकं कृत्वा तयोर्दत्तं । एकदा मेघपिंगलस्य
