जैन मार्ग (धर्म) इस कलिकालमें सब ओर से भद्ररूप हुआ, वे गणनायक आचार्य समंतभद्र पुनः पुनः वंदना किये जानेके योग्य हैं ।
इस परिचय में, यद्यपि, 'शिवकोटि ' राजाका कोई नाम नहीं है; परंतु जिन घटनाओं का इसमें उल्लेख है वे ' राजावलिकथे' आदिके अनुसार शिवकोटि राजाके 'शिवालय' से ही सम्बन्ध रखती हैं । 'सेनगणकी पट्टावली' से भी इस विषयका समर्थन होता । उसमें भी ' भीमलिंग 'शिवालय में शिवकोटि राजाके समंतभद्रद्वारा चमत्कृत और दीक्षित होने का उल्लेख मिलता है । साथ ही उसे ' नवतिलिंग ' देशका 'महाराज' सूचित किया है, जिसकी राजधानी उस समय संभवत: ' कांची ' ही होगी । यथा
