________________ ५४ स्वामी समन्तभद्र। ___ इस पद्यमें भी विद्यानंदाचार्य, समंतभद्रके 'युक्त्यनुशासन' स्तोत्रका जयघोष करते हुए, उसे 'अबाधित' विशेषण देते हैं और साथ ही . यह सूचित करते हैं कि उसमें प्रमाण-नयके द्वारा वस्तुतत्त्वका निर्णय किया गया है। स्वामिनश्चरितं तस्य कस्य नो विस्मयावहं । देवागमेन सर्वज्ञो येनाद्यापि प्रदश्यते ॥ त्यागी स एव योगीन्द्रो येनाक्षय्यसुखावहः। अर्थिने भव्यसार्थाय दिष्टो रत्नकरंडकः ॥ -पार्श्वनाथचरित। इन पद्योंमें, · पार्श्वनाथचरित'को शक सं० ९४७ में बनाकर समाप्त करनेवाले श्रीवादिराजसरि, समंतभद्रके 'देवागम' और 'रत्नकरंडक' नामके दो प्रवचनों (ग्रंथों) का उल्लेख करते हुए, लिखते हैं कि 'उन स्वामी ( समंतभद्र) का चरित्र किसके लिये विस्मयावह ( आश्चर्यजनक ) नहीं है जिन्होंने १ माणिकचंद्रग्रंथमालामें प्रकाशित 'पार्श्वनाथचरित' में इन दोनों पद्योंके मध्यमें नीचे लिखा एक पद्य और भी दिया है; परंतु हमारी रायमें वह पद्य इन दोनों पद्योंके बादका मालूम होता है-उसका 'देवः ' पद 'देवनन्दी' ( पूज्यपाद ) का वाचक है । ग्रंथमें देवनन्दिके सम्बन्धका कोई दूसरा पद्य वहाँ है भी नहीं, जिसके होनेकी; अन्यथा, बहुत संभावना थी। यदि यह तीसरा पद्य सचमुच ही ग्रंथकी प्राचीन प्रतियोंमें इन दोनों पद्योंके मध्यमें ही पाया जाता है और मध्यका ही पद्य है तो यह कहना पड़ेगा कि वादिराजने समंतभद्रको अपना हित चाहनेवालोंके द्वारा वंदनीय और अचिन्त्य महिमावाला देव प्रतिपादन किया है। साथ ही, यह लिखकर कि उनके द्वारा शब्द भले प्रकार सिद्ध होते हैं, उनके किसी व्याकरण ग्रंथका उल्लेख किया है-- अचिन्त्यमहिमा देवः सोऽभिवंडो हितैषिणा। शब्दाश्च येन सिद्धपन्ति साधुत्वं प्रतिलंभिताः ॥ Jain Education International For Personal & Private Use Only www.jainelibrary.org
