79. Excepting the conjunct in a, a, a (and a) and ‹, whether first or second members of conjuncts are dropped. asgai etc., in conjunct like, the dropping of by ii. 77 and of a by ii. 79 is allowed, in such cases one or the other, according to instances found, is to be dropped.
80. ह्रदशद्वस्य etc., for स्थितिपरिवृत्ति ( metathesis) see below ii. 116-124. वोद्रह m. and वोद्रही f. are देशी words meaning a young man and woman. सिक्खन्तु वोद्रहीओ, sk. शिक्षन्ता तरुण्यः, वोहम्म पतिता, sk. तरुणहूदे पतिता.
