## Chapter 206: Description of the Action of the Four Types of Karma (Kriṣṭiveḍaka Kriyā Nirūpaṇa)
**869**
The second Kriṣṭi, excluding the nine-fold bound time and the time bound by the two Āvali, and excluding the time bound by the Udaya Āvali, is transferred to the remaining second Kriṣṭi, and the remaining second Kriṣṭi is agitated by the internal Kriṣṭi, i.e., it attains the state of transition.
**1294-1297**
The state of the burning greed (lobha) is bound for the duration of an Antarmūhurta. The state of the remaining three Ghatiya Karmas is bound for the duration of an Ahorātra (a little less than a day and night). The state of the three Karmas, namely, Nāma, Gotr, and Vedaniya, which are associated with the Bādarasāmprāyika, is reduced from a number of thousands of years to a little less than a year. The state of the Mohaniya Karma associated with the Charamasamaya Vādarasāmprāyika is bound for the duration of an Antarmūhurta. The state of the remaining three Ghatiya Karmas is bound for a number of thousands of years. The state of the three Aghatiya Karmas, namely, Nāma, Gotr, and Vedaniya, is bound for an innumerable number of years.
**1298-1303**
After that, the first time-bound Sūkṣmasāmprāyika becomes associated with it. At that time, it takes the state of the Sūkṣmasāmprāyika, which is bound for the duration of an Antarmūhurta, and begins to destroy it by means of the state-destroying action (Sthitikaṇḍa). It begins to destroy the state by taking a number of parts of those states. After that, it takes away the portion of the state of the Sūkṣmasāmprāyika Kriṣṭi, which is both emerging and not emerging, from the portion of the state of the Udya, and gives a small portion to the Udya. Then, it gives it to the Antarmūhurta time by means of an innumerable number of series of multiplications. The extent of the series of multiplications is greater than the time of the Sūkṣmasāmprāyika. It gives an innumerable number of portions to the next state, which is born from the series of multiplications. From there, it gives portions to the remaining states in a decreasing order of magnitude until it reaches the difference that existed in the previous time. From the last of that difference, it gives portions to the remaining states.
