कसाय पाहुड सुत्त [१५ चारित्रमोह-क्षपणाधिकार ९४९. आवलियाए असंखेज्जदिमागे जवमझं । ९५०. समयपवद्धस्स एक्के क्स्स सेसगमेक्किस्से हिदीए ते समयपवद्धा थोवा । ९५१. जे दोसु हिदीसु ते समयपबद्धा विसेसाहिया । ९५२. आवलियाए असंखेज्जदिमागे दुगुणा । ९५३. आवलियाए असंखेज्जदिभागे जवमझं । ९५४. तदो हायमाणहाणाणि वासपुधत्तं ।
९५५. एत्तो चउत्थीए भासगाहाए समुक्कित्तणा। (१५०) एदेण अंतरेण दु अपच्छिमाए दु पच्छिमे समए ।
अव-समयसेसगाणि दुणियमा तम्हि उत्तरपदाणि ॥२०३॥ अन्तरित जो एक-एक असामान्य स्थिति पाई जाती है, उसका ग्रहण करना चाहिए। इसी प्रकार 'द्विकरूप' का अर्थ सामान्यस्थितियोसे अन्तरित लगातार दो-दोके रूपसे पाई जानेवाली असामान्य स्थितियोको ग्रहण करना चाहिए। इसी प्रकार त्रिक आदिका भी अर्थ जानना । द्वितीय अर्थके अनुसार-एक-एक रूपसे' अर्थात् एक-एक सामान्य स्थितिसे अन्तरित असामान्य स्थितियाँ सबसे कम हैं । द्विक अर्थात् दो-दो सामान्य स्थितियोसे अन्तरित असामान्यस्थितियाँ विशेष अधिक हैं । इसी प्रकार त्रिक, चतुष्क आदिका अर्थ तीन-तीन या चार-चार आदि सामान्य स्थितियोंसे अन्तरित असामान्य स्थितियोका ग्रहण करना चाहिए ।
चूर्णिस०-आवलीके असंख्यातवें भागमें यवमध्य होता है ॥९४९॥
विशेषार्थ-ऊपर बतलाये हुए क्रमसे दुगुण दुगुण वृद्धिरूप आवलीके असंख्यातवें भागप्रमित स्थानोके व्यतीत होनेपर इस वृद्धिरूप रचनाका यवमध्य प्राप्त होता है । इस यवमध्यके ऊपर जिस क्रमसे पहले वृद्धि हुई थी, उसी क्रमसे हानि होती हुई तव तक चली जाती है, जब तक कि यवरचनाके प्रथम विकल्पके समान प्रमाणवाला अन्तिम विकल्प उपलब्ध न हो जाय । यहाँ इतना और विशेष ज्ञातव्य है कि जिस प्रकार चूर्णिकारने असामान्य स्थितियोकी यह यवमध्यरचना वताई है, उसी प्रकार सामान्य स्थितियोकी भी यवमध्यप्ररूपणा करना चाहिए ।
चूर्णिसू०-जिन एक-एक समयप्रवद्ध का शेष एक-एक स्थितिमे पाया जाता है, वे समयप्रबद्ध अल्प हैं। जिन समयप्रबद्धोके शेप दो स्थितियोमें पाये जाते हैं, वे समयप्रबद्ध विशेष अधिक हैं । ( जिन समयप्रबद्धोके शेष तीन स्थितियोंमें पाये जाते हैं, वे समयप्रवद्ध विशेष अधिक हैं। ) इस प्रकारसे बढ़ता हुआ यह क्रम आवलीके असंख्यातवें भाग पर दुगुना हो जाता है । ( यह एक दुगुणवृद्धिस्थान है । ) इस प्रकारके आवलीके असंख्यातवे भागप्रमित दुगुण वृद्धिस्थानोके होनेपर यवमध्य प्राप्त होता है। तदनन्तर हायमान स्थान वर्पपृथक्त्वप्रमाण हैं । (तव घटते हुए क्रमका अन्तिम विकल्प प्राप्त होता है) ॥९५०-९५४॥
चूर्णिमू०-अब इससे आगे चौथी भाष्यगाथाकी समुत्कीर्तना की जाती है ॥९५५ ।
