Gatha 115] Exposition of Ownership of Samyama and Asamyama Attainments
665. These six half-periods are equal and innumerable times more. 42. The series of qualities (of the ascetic) is innumerable. 43. The minimum influx of karmas is innumerable. 44. The maximum influx of karmas is innumerable. 45. The minimum duration of the two-khandaka is innumerable. 46. The minimum duration of the first two-khandaka of the Apurvakarana is innumerable. 47. The Palyopama is innumerable. 48. The maximum duration of the two-khandaka is innumerable. 49. The minimum duration of the three-khandaka is innumerable. 50. The maximum duration of the three-khandaka is innumerable. 51. The minimum duration of the three-samtaka karma is innumerable. 52. The maximum duration of the three-samtaka karma is innumerable.
53. There are eight Anuyogadvara (topics of investigation) for Samyata (restraint) and Asamyata (non-restraint). They are: Satprarupana (true exposition), Dravyapramana (measure of substance), Ksetraanugama (extent of space), Sparsanaa (touch), Kaala (time), Antaraa (interval), Bhagabhaga (division and non-division), and Alpabahutva (little and much). 54. After the exposition of these Anuyogadvara, the ownership and little-much should be done with intensity and mildness.
