84. The one who has become a deva with the subsided passions (uvasantakasaya), the arising (janana) and the subsidence (niseya) of the first-moment deva's twelve passions are the arising and the subsidence of the two-pointed (dvipittaya) and the arising (udaya) etc.
85. Whose is the subsidence-based (adhaniseya) and the standing (tthidi) of the twelve passions in the lowest degree (jhaṇṇaya)?
86. The one who has taken birth among the inauspicious (abhavvasiddhi) by the power of the lowest (jhaṇṇaya) activity, in the first moment of his birth, the power of the contraction (kampena) binds the highest (uttakkhutta) standing (tthidi) of that power. As long as that binding lasts, for that duration, the subsidence-based (adhaniseya) and the standing (tthidi) of his twelve passions are in the lowest degree (jhaṇṇaya). In the past time, he was never born in a single existence (sappayāre).
87-90. Similarly, the ownership (svāmitva) of the three kinds of standing (tthidi) of the male-sex-energy (purisaveda), laughter (hāsa), joy (rati), fear (bhaya), and disgust (juguppsa) should be understood. The ownership of the lowest degree (jhaṇṇaya) of the standing (tthidi) based on the subsidence (niseya) of the female-sex-energy (itthiveda), neuter-sex-energy (navuṃsayaveda), aversion (aradisoga), should be done like that of the passions (saṃjvalana). In that in which the lowest degree (jhaṇṇaya) of the standing (tthidi) is based on the subsidence (niseya), in the same, the lowest degree (jhaṇṇaya) of the standing (tthidi) based on the subsidence (niseya) should also be done. The arising-based (udayaṭṭhidi) standing (tthidi) should be done in the way the lowest degree (jhaṇṇaya) of the standing (tthidi) arises (udaya) from the diminished (jhīṇa) standing (tthidi).
91. It is of little and much (appābahuttaṃ).
92. The highest degree (ukkaṭṭhaya) of the standing (tthidi) of all the psychic dispositions (paḍīṇaṃ) is everywhere (sabbattha) the same (upama).
