Please refer to your letter dated the 22nd March, 1973, inviting the Governor to attend, as Guest-in-chief, the Bhagwan Mahavira Jayanti Celebrations to be held on the 15th April, 1973 at 7 pm. under the auspices of the Bhagwan Mahavira Jayanti Samaroha Samiti, Calcutta
I am desired to thank you for the kind invitation and to say that the Governor regrets very much his inability to accept the invitation to attend the function on that day due to other engagements.
- The Governor, however, sends his good wishes for the success of the Mahavira Jayanti Celebrations to be held by your Samiti.
