aga Prakriti Bandha refers to the nature or kinds of karma binding a soul. Pradesha Bandha is the bondage of the mass of Karma Sthiti is the duration of the bondage Anubhaga refers to the intensity of the bondage whether mild, mediocre or intense. When the soul is rid of all bondage, it rises up to the summit of the world. Samsarı Jivas are souls bound by karmas When they die and when they have to take new births they are said to have movements in directions, excluding vidisas They can move along the cardinal points and up and down These are called the Яf the ladder paths. Jivas are classified under two heads, Samsarı and Mukta, the unliberated and the liberated.

one sense
Fourteen classes of Jívas. Samsari Jivas are divided into two classes Sthavara and Trasa. Sthavara Jivas have only viz. the sense of touch. For example earth, water, fire, air and vegetables have one sense only. They are again either gross or very subtle (invisible) Each of these is again divided into two classes Paryapta (developed) and Aparyapta ( undeveloped ). Trasa Jivas are of five kinds, those having two, three, four, five senses such as worm ant, bee and man respectively, and those having five senses and mind Each of those is again divided into two classes, Paryapta (developed) and Aparyapta (undeveloped). Thus we have on the whole fourteen classes of Jivas or souls
चतुर्दश मार्गरणास्थान Fourteen Marganasthanas or conditions in which Jivas are found. They are (1) Gati (2) Indriya (5) Veda (6) Kashaya (7) Jnana (3) Kaya (4) Yoga (8) Samyama (9) Darshana (10) Leshya (11) Bhavya (12) Samyaktva (13) Sanjni (14) Ahara.
