Vršcika - 4 Meena - 4 Mayamatam gives the corrections for every ten days. But it gives nil correction for the period from 10th to the 30th oi Moșa. So in the place where Mayamatam text is written the sun is overhead about the 20th of Mēsa. i. e. about 5th May. From 22nd March to 5th May is about 42 days. Therefore the place where Mayamatam has been written is about 2 or 3o further South. It has been customary for Indian astronomers
