१D E omit जहा परमत्तीर तहा and read जाव भिक्खायरिय जाद घडमाणे ; the second जाव is not intelligible; there is nothing to which it could refer; the technical phrase, as shown by $$ 77 and 78, is fazer aftale घडमाण, without any intermediate words. Before भि०, however, a large portion of the current passage of 1577 and 78 (vis., उच्चनीयमझिमाई कुलाई घरसमुदाणस्म) is omitted and the omission is indicated by the first gia of D E. The same omission is indicated by the single जाव of A BC. The second जाव of D E probably arose from an erroneous repetition of the sia of the original rubric, intended to take the place of the omitted phrase जहा परमत्तीए तहा। २ A B C om., D समं। ३ A B
