4. Jambugakahā.
Kurucandakahā; PrPN 192; VH 169. Ninnāmiākahā; PrPN 324; VH 171. Kulagarakahā; PrPN 193; VH 157. J.I on p. 30 says: samvaccharam ca Jāva sāmi sacelo vihario tao param acelo samvutto tti. This shows that Bhadreśvara follows Ācārānga 1.9.46522, Ay niryukti 206 and the Svetāmbara tradition. Though following AvCū, he has sometimes also given other views, as in the case of the 32 Indras who came to Rşabha23. About Sejjamsa, ĀvCū 162 says that he was the son of Bharata, but according to Bhadreśvara, who here follows the VH tradition24, he was Bāhubali's grand-son. On J.I p. 33, Cakreśvari devi and Gomukha yakşa are mentioned, but they are not found in Caup. On p. 25 in saying that Marudevi was the first Siddha of this avasarpiņi, Bhadreśvara follows
the Svetāmbara tradition. 8. Ajiyakahā (Tir. 2); Caup 51; PrPN 25; VH 300; Paum 41. 9. Muddhabhaddakahā; Muddha Bhatta, Caup 53. 10. Sagaracakkikahā (Cakrin 2); VH-, PrPN; Paum 42. 11. 23. J.1 p. 23.
24. VH 164. 25. J.1 p. 30. I have not tried here to compare the rest of the K with the AvCū, This is only an
example to assert the existence of different traditions. 26. In the VH, only some stories of Tir. are narrated.
