________________ ( 132 ) (७) भूतार्थे विहितस्य प्रतायस्य स्थाने खरान्तात् ी, सी, डी, इत्येत श्रादेशा भवन्ति । In the past tense hi, si, hiya, is indiscriminately used for the affixes after roots ending in a vowel in all persons and numbers, as कामी, काही, काहीत्र, (अकार्षीत् अकरोत्, चकार दूतादि); ठासी, ठाही, ठाही (चस्थात्, प्रतिष्ठव तस्थौ); (८) व्यञ्जनान्ताद्धातो: परस्य भृतार्थे विहितस्य प्रतायस्य स्थाने 'इन आदेशो भवति । In the past tense iya is substituted for all the affixes in the roots originally ending in consonant (१), as गेण्होत्र (अग्रहीत् अटहात्, जग्राह); असधातो भूतार्थेन प्रतायेन मह 'प्रामि' 'रहेमि' इतादेशौ भवतः । यासि or रहेसि is substituted for the root as in the past tense, as आमि, (मः, त्वं, अहं इतरादि) प्रकाशेव कवचनेष्वयं विधिः। According to the Prakkitaprakas'a this rule is used in the singular only. (2) भविष्यति तिवादीनां रूपाणि । In the future tense the conjugation affixes tip &c. assume the following forms. (१)। प्राकृतप्रकाशमते भने प्रत्ययस्य ईछ अादेशो भवति, एकाचस्तु धातो. सैयादेशः। According to prakrita prakasa Iya is substituted for the affix, after roots in the past tense and hiya after a monosyllabic root, as हुवीच, (अभत्, अभवत्, वभव); काहीच, (अकार्षीत, अकरोत्, धकार); प्रायोभने निष्ठान प्रयोग एव दृश्यने। In the past tense generally the verbs formed with the affixes kta and ktabatu are used, Aho !
