________________ ( 9 ) स 'sa' is substiuted for the final sibilant of dis (दिश ) and Pravrish (पावृथ् ) ; as दिसो (दिक्); पाउसो (पारट); ॥आयुरप्सरमो वा ॥ २० । एतयो रन्यव्यञ्जनस्य मो वा भवति । Sa # is optionally substituted for the final consonant of the words ayush (आयुष्) and apsctras (अपसरस्). As दीहाउसो, दीहाऊ, (दीर्घायुः) अच्छरसो, अच्छरा, (अप्सरा); ॥ मोऽनुस्वारः ॥ २१ । १ ।। अन्त्यमकारस्यानुस्वारो भवति । Anuswara (अनुखार) is substituted for final m (म); as जलं, फलं, क्वचिदनन्त्यस्यापि In some instances m म, though not a final one becomes an anuswara optionally; as वणम्मि वर्णमि (वने); ॥वावरे मश्च ॥ २२ । २ ।। अन्त्यमकारस्य खरे परोऽनुस्वारो वा भवति । पक्षे लुगपवादः मस्य मकारश्च ।। When a vowel immediately follows, the final m (म) becomes Anuswara optionally. If no Anuswara is substituted m remains unchanged, or in other words, Sandhi in this case is allowed : as फलं आहरदू, १ प्राकृत प्रकाशे सूत्रमिदं किञ्चिभिन्नाकारं दृश्यते यथा “म.जिन्छः” (१२१.४) A little difference is seen in the form of the corresponding sutra of Prakrita Prakasa as “mo Vinduh" (12ch. 4). २ एतदपि सूत्र प्राकृत प्रकाशे भिन्नाकृति विद्यते यथा “यचि मच" The corresponding sutra of Prakritaprakasa is "Achimascha" (13cb.4).
