अध्याय -3
ज्ञानी अपने परिणामों को जानता है -
ण वि परिणमदि ण गिण्हदि उप्पज्जदि ण परदव्वपज्जाए। णाणी जाणतो वि हु सगपरिणाम अणेयविहं॥ (3-9-77)
ज्ञानी अनेक प्रकार के अपने परिणामों का जानता हुआ भी निश्चय से परद्रव्य की पर्यायों में न तो परिणमन करता है, न उन्हें ग्रहण करता है, न उन रूप उत्पन्न ही होता है।
The knower, while knowing the various modes of his own thought-dispositions, surely does not manifest himself in the modifications of alien substances, or assimilate them, or transmute in their form.
ज्ञानी कर्म-फल को जानता है -
ण वि परिणमदि ण गिण्हदि उप्पज्जदि ण परदव्वपज्जाए। णाणी जाणतो वि हु पोग्गलकम्मफलं अणंत॥ (3-10-78)
ज्ञानी पौद्गलिक कर्मों के अनन्त फल का जानता हुआ भी निश्चय से परद्रव्यों के पर्यायों में न तो परिणमन करता है, न उन्हें ग्रहण करता है, न उन रूप उत्पन्न होता
The knower, while knowing the various fruits of karmic matter, surely does not manifest himself in the modifications of alien substances, or assimilate them, or transmute in their form.
