अध्याय - 10 हैं। इस प्रकार एक दूसरे के निमित्त से आत्मा और कर्म-प्रकृतियाँ – दोनों का बन्ध होता है। उस बन्ध से संसार होता है।
The (psychic states of) soul are produced and destroyed by the operation of various species of karmas. Also, various species of karmas are produced and destroyed by the (psychic states of) soul. In this way, the soul and various species of karmas get bonded to each other. This bond is the cause of worldly cycle of births and deaths.
ज्ञाता, दृष्टा, मुनि कैसे होता है?
जा एस पयडीयळं चेदगो ण विमुंचदि। अयाणगो हवे तावं मिच्छादिट्ठी असंजदो॥

जदा विमुंचदे चेदा कम्मफलमणंतयं। तदा विमुत्तो हवदि जाणगो पस्सगो मुणी॥
(10-8-315)
जक तक यह आत्मा कर्मप्रकृति के निमित्त से होने वाले उत्पत्ति और विनाश को नहीं छोड़ता, तब तक वह अज्ञानी, मिथ्यादृष्टि और असंयत (रहता) है। जब आत्मा अनन्त कर्मफल को छोड़ देता है, तब वह बन्ध से मुक्त हुआ ज्ञाता, दृष्टा और संयत (हो जाता) है।
