अध्याय -7 ज्ञानी के धर्म का परिग्रह नहीं है -
अपरिग्गहो अणिच्छो भणिदो णाणी य णेंच्छदे धम्म। अपरिग्गहो द धम्मस्स जाणगो तेण सो होदि॥ (7-18-210)
जिसके इच्छा नहीं है, वह अपरिग्रही कहा है और ज्ञानी धर्म को - पुण्य को नहीं चाहता, इसलिए वह धर्म का परिग्रही नहीं है, (किन्तु वह) धर्म का ज्ञायक है।
The one who is devoid of desire is said to be free from attachment, and the knower does not desire virtue or merit, therefore, he is not a possessor of virtue; he is just its knower.
ज्ञानी के अधर्म का परिग्रह नहीं है -
अपरिग्गहो अणिच्छो भणिदो णाणी य णेंच्छदि अधम्म। अपरिग्गहो अधम्मस्स जाणगो तेण सो होदि॥ (7-19-211)
जिसके इच्छा नहीं है, वह अपरिग्रही कहा है और ज्ञानी अधर्म को – पाप को नहीं चाहता, इसलिए वह अधर्म का परिग्रही नहीं है, किन्तु ज्ञायक है।
The one who is devoid of desire is said to be free from attachment, and the knower does not desire vice or demerit, therefore, he is not a possessor of vice; he is just its knower.
