- (48) It is permissible for a good person, provided be oommands sufficient ability, to undertake comparative examination of bis own system of religion in relation to other systems of religions, if he can do 80 with due impartiality and without having obstinate predilections for or prejudices against any of them.
दर्शनोद्गमने मूलमार्गो गुणिगुणादरः । नहि दर्शनशुद्धिः स्यात् स्वदर्शनदुराग्रहे
॥४९॥
દર્શનને પ્રકટાવવાને મૂલ માર્ગ ગુણપૂજા (ગુણીના ગુણે તરફ આદર) छ. २१४शनना राबड डाय तो शनशुद्धि न था५. (४८)
(49) The principal path leading to the attainment of right vision is worshipful regard for the virtues of the virtuous. ObstiDate adherence to one's own system of religion in toto without discrimination, cannot bring about purity of right understanding.
विवेकदृष्टिसंपूता सद्दर्शनसदाग्रहः । श्रेयानात्मगुणः श्रेयोनिःश्रेण्यारोहशक्तिदः
॥५०॥
વિવેક દષ્ટિત,ગુણદૃષ્ટિમૂલક જે દર્શન (ધર્મ પ્રદાયને આગ્રહ હેય તો તે સદાગ્રહ આત્માને ગુણ છે અને કલ્યાણની સીઢી ચઢવામાં બલપ્રદ છે. (૫૦)
(50) Firm adherence to one's own school of religion, which is purified by discrimination and accompanied by respect towards virtues, is right and proper, and is a quality of Atman and enables to climb up the stair-cuse lending to Beatitude.
यत्र यत्र शुभं पश्येत् तत्र कुर्यात् तदादरम् । यत्र यत्राऽशुभं पश्येत् तत्रोदासीत तत्र च
॥५१ ।।
