ઉપ-પ્રમાણે
23. tbe material happiness experienced in the region of the body is derived through the senger, by their enjoyment of the respectiva sense-objucts.] These i. c. the happiness, the body, the enjoymeut, and sense-objects are not permanent. Every thing phenomenal is transitory. In this world there is nothing which we can always rely upon.
અરીમ વન
महीपतिश्चक्रधरः मुरेश्वरी योगीश्वरो वा भुवनत्रयेश्वरः । सर्वेऽपि मृत्योरुपयन्ति गोचरं न ह्यत्र कश्चिन्शरणं शरीरिणः ॥ २४ ॥
૨૪. રાજા, નરેશ્વર, સુરેશ્વર, ગીવર અને જગદીશ્વર બધાને મૃત્યુના માર્ગ પર આવવું પડે છે. (દેડધારીને મૃત્યુ અવશ્યન્માવી છે. જન્મધારી મરણધર્મ છે.) મૃત્યુના આક્રમણ વખતે કઈ રક્ષણ કરી શકે તેમ નથી.
24. Asharana-Bhavava;-Kings, paramount sovereigns, Indras, lordly Yogis and lords of the three world, are all mortal (i, e. liable to death). There is none to proteot embodied beings against death ).

दुःखानि दुष्कर्मविशककाले ढोकन्त उग्राणि शरीरभाजः । अमुं ततस्त्रातुमलं न कश्चिद्, मागोपदेशाशरणं च सन्तः
।। २५ ।।
૨૨. પ્રાણીને પતે ઉપાર્જન કરેલ દુષ્કર્મો જ્યારે ઉદયમાં આવે છે ત્યારે કેવાં કેવાં દુખે ખમવો પડે છેતે વખતે તેને કોઈ રક્ષણ આપી શકતું નથી, ફક્ત પવિત્ર સન્ત જન સન્માર્ગના ઉપદેશક હેવાથી શરણભૂત કહી શકાય, અને તેમને બતાવેલો કુશલ-માર્ગ શરણથીને શરણ આપી શકે.
