________________ तृतीय-प्रकरणम् ४०९ 75. Those who have even partially pranised the vow of non-oove tousness, are able to check the tiles of the ocean of greed which have pervaded the three worlds. Susb persons thongh bouseholders deserve to be congratulated. आरम्भभारा भववृक्षमूलं परिग्रहः कारणमस्त्यमीपाम् । तस्मादवश्यं नियतप्रमाणं परिग्रह संविदधीत गेही ॥ ७६ ।। ૭૬. ભવ-વૃક્ષનું મૂળ કલુષિત આરંભમાં છે, અને આરભનું કારણ પરિગ્રહ છે; માટે ગૃહસ્થ પરિગ્રહનું સમુચિત પરિમાણ અવશ્ય કરવું જોઈએ. 76. The tree of worldly existence has its root in activities (which involve sins like injury and others and desire for wealth is the cause of these activities. A householder should therefore set a limit to the acquisition and possession of property. एतानहिंसादि-यमान् स्वशक्तेरहन्ति सम्पालयितुं समग्राः । धर्मोऽस्त्ययं सार्वजनीन एव स्वाभाविकी जीवन- नीतिरेषा ॥ ७७॥ ૭૭, આ અહિંસા આદિ અમેને પોતાની શક્તિ અનુસાર બધા પાળી શકે છે. અને સાર્વજનિક ધર્મ છે અને જીવનની રવાભાવિક નીતિ છે. 77, All should always obrerve these five Yamas aocording to their own individual capacity. These ( five ) Yamas constitute the prescribed course of conduat (धर्म) universally applicable:to all:and naturally form the bare Principles of coudinct in life. Aho! Shrutgyanam
