24. The great vow of truthfulness is a vow before which even the heads of the lords of the whole universe bend in devotion and humility. It is the refulgent light, it is all-surpassing wealth, it is the best fortune and real greatness.
मृषोद्यते यत् फलमाकलय्य फलस्य तस्यानृतजागसश्च । अस्त्यन्तरं कीडगवेक्षणीयं युक्ता हि कार्येषु तुला-समा धीः ॥ २५ ॥
૨૫. જે ફલની આકાંક્ષાથી મૃષા બોલવામાં આવે છે તે ફલ અને તે મૃષાવાદથી ઉત્પન્ન થતા અપરાધમાં કેટલું અત્તર છે તે વિચારવું જોઈએ. લાભાલાભને તુલા-સમાન બુદ્ધિથી તેલ કર ગ્ય ગણાય.
25. There is a lot of difference between the guilt involved in uttering falsehood and the worth of the object intended to be sobieved by the utterance of falsehood. One should examine the relative merits of both and weigb them in one's intellectual balance. [ An individual should act according to the dictates of his pure conscience.]
धनार्जनं न्याय-पथेन सम्यग् उद्योगतोऽशक्यतया क आह ? - आरम्मतो धीरतया तु सह्या आपद्यमानाः प्रतिकूलयोगाः ॥ २६ ॥
૨૬. ન્યાયના માર્ગો રીતસર ઉદ્યોગ કરવાથી દ્રવ્યોપાર્જન શું શક્ય નથી? અલબત્ત શરૂઆતમાં આવી પડતી મુશ્કેલીઓ ધીરજથી સહન કરવી પડશે. [ પરીક્ષેત્તીર્ણ થાય ત્યારે જ સિદ્ધિ સાંપડે ને !
26. Who says that wealth is not possible to be earned in trades or oocupations which are justly and honourably conducted ?
