पाठोपनिषद्
तूष्णींभवत गुह्येऽर्थे पृच्छन्तं वा निषेधत । नैर्बल्यं नैतिक लोकैषणा - भीती च मुञ्चत
જાહેર કરવા જેવી ખમત ન હેાય તેમાં મોન રહે; અથવા તે વિષે પૂછનારને તેમાં ન પડવ!નું જણાવી દે, નૈતિક નિર્મલતા, લેકેષણા અને લેાકભય એ સવને દૂર ફેકા. ૩૨
दुर्हासं परनिन्दां च त्यजेताऽनर्थकारणम् । नृतव्रतनिष्ठत्वं भजेत कुशलावहम्
॥ ૩૨ !
Keep mum in matters which should not be published, or tell those who are inquisitive, not to dubb!e in them. Moral weak ness, desire for cheap popularity or undue fear of public opinion should be kept at a distance. 32,
मास्म दुर्वृत्तयो भूताऽनधिकारेऽन्यवस्तुनि । अधिकारं समाच्छेत्तुं विचेष्टध्वं न कस्यचित्

ઉદ્ધત હાસ્ય અને પર્રાનન્દા જે સ્પષ્ટ અનથકારક છે તેને મૂકી ઢા, નૃત વ્રત (પ્રિય સત્ય) જે કેવલ કુશલકારક છે તે ઉપર દઢ રહેવાને અભ્યાસ કરા, ૩૩.
Cast off insolent laughter and censure of others, because they are clearly harmful. Learn to be firm on the vow of truth. fulness which is the giver of only happiness. 33
Aho! Shrutgyanam
॥ ૨૪ ॥
જે વસ્તુ પર તમારા અધિકાર ન હેાય તેના ઉપર તમારી દાનત બગાડતા નહિ. બીજાના અધિકાર પર તરાપ ન મારતા. ૩૪
