વારિક માણસ બીજાની હિંસા કરે છે લોભથી, બીજાને ઠગે છે, ઠગવા દાવપેચ કરે છે લેભથી, બીજાને હેરાન કરે છે અથવા પિતે હેરાન થાય છે લેભથી, અને બીજાને દુશ્મન બને છે લેભથી. ખરેખર લેભ અનર્થનું વિસ્તીર્ણ મૂળ છે. એ પાપનું નિન્દન કરી સુખી થાઓ ! (૭૪)
(74) It is due to excessive greed that people indulge in killing, deceiving or persecuting others; suffer harassments or act 88 enemies towards others. Greed is the great souroe of all evil or all distrese, Root it out and be happy.
परिग्रहान्दोलनमूच्छितात्मा स्वयं समामन्त्रयति व्यथौषम् । तथा परान मुञ्चति कष्टभूमौ स्वान्योपकारी खलु लोभरोधः ।।७।।
માણસ પરિગ્રહના આન્દોલનમાં મૂચ્છિત થઈ હાથે કરી દુઃખોને નોતરે છે, એટલું જ નહિ, એની એ ઉન્મત્ત મૂચ્છી બીજાને પણ દુઃખી હાલતમાં નાંખે છે. ખરેખર લોભના નિયમનથી પિતાને અને સાથે જ બીજાઓને પણ લાભ છે. (૭૫)
(75) One under the influence of a varice not only invites unto oneself, but bringe on others a lot of troubles. And it is the arresting of avarice that makes oneself and others happy.
क्रोधात् स्वचित्स्वास्थ्यमपाकरोति मानान्निरुन्द्वे विकसत् स्वसत्वम् । दम्भानिजान्तस्तिमिरं चिनोति दोषान् समानामत सवतोऽमूम् ॥७६॥
માણસ ક્રોધથી પિતાનું આત્મિક કે માનસિક સ્વાથ્ય ગુમાવે છે, અહંકારથી પોતાના સત્વને વિકાસ પામતાં અટકાવે છે, માયાથી પિતાની અન્દર અન્યકાર અને સંગ્રહે છે. આ દોષને તમે આત્મબળે દબાવ ! (૭૬)
(76) Anger under nines mental and spiritual health. Pride cheoks the growth or expansion of heart. Hypocrisy accumulates the internal darkness. Be brave and crugh these vices
