Variation 2: Assume kapali asana.
Bend the left knee and touch the left buttock with the heel. Tilt the hips forward, bend the right leg and bring the right knee to the chest. In the final pose the left knee points forward and the right knee points downward. Hold the final pose for as long as is comfortable.
