When there is street thrust on the whole of SouthWest face of which
1/3 Southern street thrust portion is s good and the balance West & SouthWest street thrust is bad. The benevolent Southern street thrust would reduce the total adverse effects. Basement here would greatly reduce the adverse effects.
Remedial Measures: Construct two wall at least 4 inches thick and 8 feet high (at least 4 inches apart) opposite the thrusting street, leaving just adequate space between this wall and main walls. Main door should be as shown.
