After knowing Nirvana of Adinath, Indra Dev
went to Ashtapad. He saw King Bharat overwhelmed with grief. He could not light the funeral pyre. At that time Indra Dev consoled him. Subsequently Indra constructed 3 Stups, one in memory of Shri Adinath, another one for
his sons and third for all the monks.
