The Swastika, an auspicious symbol represents four possible states of birth: buman, heaven, bell and animal. Our goal should be liberation from
these with the help of threefold path of liberation; Samyag Darshan, Samyag Jnän, and Samyag Charitra represented by three dots above Swastika. The crescent represents Siddha-shilä, an abode for liberated souls and the dot above denotes a liberated soul free of all Karma.
Non-violence
परस्परोपग्रहो जीवानाम् Compassionate Living Mutual assistance of all living beings
The raised hand means 'stop. The word in the center of the wheel is "Abimsa", meaning non-violence. The symbol reminds us to stop
for a minute and think twice before starting any activity. This gives us a chance to analyze our activities to be sure that they will not hurt
anyone by thoughts, words, and deeds.
