Religious Instructions to Akbar the Great
Shri Jin Chandra Suriji's benign influence spread all over Aryavarta and tales of his glory reached the ears of Emperor Akbar the Great. They invited him to his palace where his holiness taught him religious philosophy. Shri Suriji expounded the philosophy of non-violence and got it announced by a royal dictum.
Restoration of Eye-sight to a Blind Man of Surat A religious-minded, Seth's only son lost his eye sight which could not be restored in spite of prolonged treatment. He came at last to the Gurudeva with his blind son. The Gurudeva could see the prospective Jain and so restored the blind son's eye sight.
The Advent and Disappearance of Envy
A dying cow dropped dead in front of a Jain temple. The Brahmins carried on an agitation against the Jains whom they defamed as slaughterers of cow. Gurudeva revived life in the cow by his power of self-control, and the cow got up and died in front of their own temple and so they craved for pardon then.
Arresting Lightning during the Pratikraman Once Shri Jin Dutt Suriji M.S. was doing Pratikraman in the company of a vast crowd of disciples at the time of Sun-set. There was a sudden blast of lightning. Where upon Shri Suriji arrested the lightning and contained it in a wooden vassel for the protection and safety of the Jain temple and prayer hall. On the completion of Pratikraman he released the lightning. The spirit of lightning bowed to the spiritual power of Shri Suriji and vowed never to strike again.
Marvel of the Bier
Literary Creations of Shri Gurudeva Shri Jin Dutt Suriji served the people by composing many religious books in Prakrit, Sanskrit and Apabhranghsa languages. His books were not voluminous but they were present with deep thoughts and significance. They are as impressive as his preaching and religious performances.
Shri Jin Chandra Suriji prior to his passing away he instructed his followers not to put his bier on the ground on the way to the funeral place. The bereaved followers forgot and laid the bier down at Manak Chowk. Then they could not lift it up again. When the king arrived there. He ordered elephants to harness the bier, but still the bier remained unmoved. So the cremation had to be performed on the very spot.

The Protection of Sangh from Robbers
Shri Samay Sunderji boarded a boat to cross the river "Panch Nadi" Once Shri Gurudeva was travelling with his holy entourage, when along with his party of devotees. After a while a cyclone fiercely they found some robbers. The Gurudev calmed his followers and raged and it began to rain heavily swinging the boat to and fro. He said, "All the members of the party must come and stand within the began to meditate on his favorite Guru. As a result of his prayers, circle I draw". The robbers passed by without taking any notice of the soul of Shri Jin Kushal Suriji appeared and rescued everybody. the holy Sangh (gathering).
The Growth of the Oswal Dynasty
The entire life of Shri Jin Dutt Suriji, was dedicated to the establishment and consolidation of the Jain Society. The growth of the Oswal dynasty was one of his chief objectives. His ambrosial voice drew millions to the Jain fold. He cast the magic spell of Jainism on the people. They all embraced Jainism and identified themselves with the Oswal community.
