Namo Arihantanam
|bow to the Arihantas (with body), the omniscient (knowing everything)
Namo Siddhanam
I bow to the Siddhas, the bodiless liberated souls
Namo Ayariyanam
I bow to the Acharyas, the heads of the four-fold order
Namo Uvajjayanam
I bow to the Upadhyayas who are next to the head
Namo Loye Sava Sahunam
I bow to all the Saints in the universe
Eso Panch Namukkaro
This five fold salutation
Savva Pavappanasano Destory all sins
Mangalanam Cha Savesim Amongst all auspicious things Padhamam Havai Mangalam
It is the most auspicious one
