२७८. से किं तं कालसंजोगे ?
कालसंजोगे सुसम-सुसमए, सुसमए, सुसम-दूसमए, दूसम-सुसमए, दूसमए, दूसम-दूसमए अहवा पाउसए वासारत्तए सरदए हेमंतए वसंतए गिम्हए। से तं कालंसजोगे।
२७८. (प्र.) कालसंयोग से होने वाले नाम क्या हैं ?
(उ.) काल के संयोग से होने वाले नाम इस प्रकार हैं-सुषम-सुषम काल में उत्पन्न a होने से यह 'सुषम-सुषमज' है, सुषम काल में उत्पन्न होने से 'सुषमज' है। इसी प्रकार
सुषम-दुषमज, दुषम-सुषमज, दुषमज, दुषम-दुषमज नाम भी जानना चाहिए। अथवा * यह प्रावृषिक (वर्षा के प्रारम्भ काल में उत्पन्न हुआ) है, यह वर्षारात्रिक (वर्षा ऋतु में
उत्पन्न) है, यह शारद (शरद ऋतु में उत्पन्न) है, यह हेमन्तक है, यह वासन्तक (वसन्त ऋतु में उत्पन्न) है, यह ग्रीष्मक (ग्रीष्म ऋतु में उत्पन्न) है। ये सभी नाम कालसंयोग से निष्पन्ननाम के उदाहरण हैं। (3) KAAL SAMYOGA NAAM

(Ans.) The (examples of) Kaal samyoga naam (name derived due to association with time or period) are as follows-A person born in the Sukham-sukham epoch is called Sukham-sukhamaj and the one born in the Sukham epoch is called Sukhamaj. In the same way are derived the names related to other epochesSukham-dukhamaj, Dukham-sukhamaj, Dukhamaj and Dukhamdukhamaj. Also, a person born during the first half of monsoon season (Pravrat) is called Pravrishik. In the same way names related to other seasons are derived—Varsharatrik is one born during the second half of the monsoon season (Varsha), Shaarad is one born during the autumn season (Sharad), Hemantak is one born during the winter season (Hemant), Vasantak is one born during the spring season (Vasant), Grishmak is one born during the summer season (Grishm).
