द्रव्य संयोगज नाम के तीन भेद द्रव्य के सयोग से प्रसिद्ध होने वाले द्रव्य सयोगज नाम तीन प्रकार के है
(१) सचित्त द्रव्य संयोगज नाम-सचित्त वस्तु, जैसे-गाय आदि रखने व पालने के कारण गोपिक (ग्वाला), ऊर्णि (भेड) रखने के कारण और्णिक कहलाता है।
(२) अचित्त द्रव्य संयोगज नाम-अचित्त वस्तु, जैसे-छत्र धारण करने वाला छत्री, दण्ड रखने वाला दण्डी कहा जाता है।
(३) मिश्र द्रव्य संयोगज नाम-सचित्त-अचित्त दोनो के सयोग से जो नाम प्रसिद्ध होता है, जैसे-हल और बैल दोनो के कारण किसान को हालिक तथा अश्व के सयोग से रथ को हॉकने वाला रथिक कहा जाता है।

THREE KINDS OF
DRAVYA SAMYOGA NAAM Names derived due to association with substances are of three kinds
(1) Sachitt Dravya Samyoga Naam-Name derived due to association with a life-bearing substance, for example owner of cows (gau) is called a Goman and owner of sheep (urni) is called Aurnik
(2) Achitt Dravya Samyoga Naam-Name derived due to association with a non-living substance, for example one who uses an umbrella (chhatra) is called a Chhatri and one who uses a stick (dand) is called a Dandı
(3) Mishra Dravya Samyoga Naam-Name derived due to association with mixed substances, for example—a farmer is called Halık because he drives a hal (plough with bullocks) and a charioteer is called Rathik because he drives a rath (chariot with horses).
