२०७. (प्रश्न ४) अनानुपूर्वी क्या है?
(उत्तर) एक से लेकर एकोत्तर वृद्धि द्वारा छह पर्यन्त की श्रेणी में स्थापित संख्या का परस्पर गुणाकार करने पर प्राप्त राशि में से प्रथम और अन्तिम भंग को कम करने पर शेष रहे भंग अनानुपूर्वी हैं। ___ यह भाव-अनानुपूर्वी का वर्णन पूर्ण हुआ। (विशेष-छह भावों का वर्णन आगे सूत्र २३३ से २५९ तक किया गया है।)
॥आनुपूर्वी प्रकरण समाप्त ॥ 207. (Question 4) What is this Ananupurvi ? (Answer) Place the aforesaid numbers (of states) starting from one and progressively adding one up to six. Multiply all the numbers of this arithmetic progression and subtract 2 (depicting the ascending and descending sequence) from the result. This final result is called ananupurvi (random sequence).
