२०४. (प्रश्न २) पूर्वानुपूर्वी क्या है ?
(उत्तर) एक, दस, सौ, सहस्र, दस सहस्र, शतसहस्र (लाख), दसशतसहस्र (दस लाख) कोटि (करोड़), दस कोटि, कोटिशत (अरब), दस कोटिशत (दस अरब), इस प्रकार से गिनती करना गणना-पूर्वानुपूर्वी है।।
204. (Question 2) What is this Purvanupurvi (in context of Ganana-anupurvi (counting sequence) ?
(Answer) Purvanupurvi is like this one, ten, hundred, thousand, ten thousand, hundred thousand (a lac), ten hundred thousand (a million), koti (crore or ten million), ten koti (hundred million), kotishat (hundred koti or one arab or billion), ten kotishat (ten arab). The arrangement of these numbers counted in such ascending sequential order is called purvanupurvi (ascending sequence).
