१७९. (प्रश्न) अनानुपूर्वी क्या है ?
(उत्तर) एक से प्रारम्भ कर एकोत्तरं वृद्धि द्वारा असंख्यात प्रदेश पर्यन्त की स्थापित श्रेणी का परस्पर गुणा करने से निष्पन्न राशि में से आदि और अन्तिम इन दो रूपों को कम करने पर क्षेत्रविषयक अनानुपूर्वी बनती है।
इस प्रकार से औपनिधिकी क्षेत्रानुपूर्वी की एवं साथ ही क्षेत्रानुपूर्वी की वक्तव्यता * समाप्त हुई।
179. (Question) What is this Ananupurvi ?
(Answer) Place numbers starting from one and progressively adding one up to infinity (aggregate of infinite particles). Multiply all the numbers of this arithmetic progression and subtract 2 (depicting the ascending and descending sequence) from the result. This final result is called ananupurvi (random sequence).
