59. (Question) What is jnayak sharir dravya skandh (physical skandh as body of the knower) ?
(Answer) Jnayak sharir dravya skandh (physical skandh as body of the knower) is explained thus-It is such a body of the knower of the purview of the meaning of skandh, which is dead (and so on up to 'from the guru'); reciting and explaining it to disciples, confirming it by demonstration, giving its special lessons to weak students, and affirming it with the help of logic and multiple perspectives (naya). (refer to aphorism 17 for details.)
This concludes the description of jnayak sharir dravya skandh (physical skandh as body of the knower). (२) भव्य शरीर द्रव्य स्कन्ध
६०. से किं तं भवियसरीरदव्वखंधे ?
भवियसरीरदव्वखंधे जे जीवे जोणिजम्मणनिक्खंते जाव खंधे इ पयं सेयकाले सिक्खिस्सइ।
जहा को दिट्टतो ? अयं महुकुंभे भविस्सइ, अयं घयकुंभे भविस्सति। से तं भवियसरीरदव्वखंधे। ६०. (प्रश्न) भव्य शरीर द्रव्य स्कन्ध क्या है?
(उत्तर) समय परिपक्व होने पर यथाकाल कोई योनि स्थान से बाहर निकला और वह यावत् भविष्य में 'स्कन्ध' इस पद के अर्थ को सीखेगा (किन्तु अभी नहीं सीख रहा है), उस जीव का शरीर भव्य शरीर द्रव्य स्कन्ध है।
(शिष्य) इसका दृष्टान्त?
(आचार्य) दृष्टान्त इस प्रकार है (वर्तमान में मधु या घी नहीं भरा है किन्तु भविष्य में भरा जायेगा ऐसे घड़े के लिए कहना) यह मधुकुंभ है, यह घृतकुंभ है।
यह भव्य शरीर द्रव्य स्कन्ध का स्वरूप है।
