गोयमा ! संखेज्जवासाउय-कम्मभूमग-गब्भवक्कंतिय-मणुस्साणं, है णो असंखेज्जवासाउयकम्मभूमग-गब्भवक्कंतिय-मणुस्साणं।
अर्थ-प्रश्न-यदि (मनःपर्यवज्ञान) कर्मभूमि के गर्भज मनुष्यों को होता है तो क्या संख्यात वर्ष की आयु वाले कर्मभूमिज गर्भज मनुष्यों को होता है अथवा असंख्यात वर्ष में 卐 की आयु वाले कर्मभूमिज गर्भज मनुष्यों को? के उत्तर-गौतम ! यह संख्यात वर्ष की आयु वाले कर्मभूमिज गर्भज मनुष्यों को ही होता ॥ + है, असंख्यात वर्ष की आयु वाले कर्मभूमिज गर्भज मनुष्यों को नहीं। $ 31. Question-When you say that it (Manah-paryav-jnana)
is acquired by karmabhumi inhabitant garbhaj human beings i do you mean those with a life-span of countable (a finite number 4
of) years or those with a life-span of uncountable years? 41 Answer-Gautam ! It is acquired only by the karmabhumi 16 $ inhabitant placental human beings with a life-span of countable 15 years and not by those with a life-span of uncountable years.
विवेचन-गर्भज मनुष्य दो प्रकार के बताये हैं-संख्यात एवं असंख्यात वर्ष आयु वाले। ॐ संख्यात वर्ष की आयु का अर्थ है ९ वर्ष से एक करोड़ पूर्व की आयु। इससे अधिक आयु 卐 असंख्यात वर्ष आयु कहलाती है। 4 Elaboration-Placental human beings are said to be of two 5 i types--with life-spans of countable and uncountable years. span of countable (a finite number of) years means any age between 9 + years to ten billion purvas (7056x1010 years). Any age more than this + 4 figure is known as a life-span of uncountable years.
