earth) in terms of area, he knows one year in the past, the present and the future in terms of time. If he knows Ruchak 1 kshetra (the over all area where beings exist according to Jain 4 cosmology) in terms of area, he knows prithaktva-varsh (2 to 9 years) in the past, the present and the future in terms of time.
१९ : संखिज्जम्मि उ काले दीव-समदा वि हंति संखिज्जा।
कालम्मि असंखिज दीव-समुद्दा उ भइयव्वा॥ __अर्थ-यदि काल से संख्यात काल को जानता है तो क्षेत्र से भी संख्यात द्वीप-समुद्र तक
