(२) अनानुगामिक अवधिज्ञान के भेद
१. ज्योति स्थान की परिक्रमावत्-जैसे किसी स्थान पर अग्नि प्रज्वलित करके उसके चारों परिक्रमा की जाये तो वह उतने ही प्रकाशित क्षेत्र को देखता है। वैसे ही उत्पत्तिस्थान पर ही वाला अवधिज्ञान। (सूत्र १२ )
२. श्रृंखला से बँधे दीपकवत् - किसी स्थान पर जलते हुए दीपक को बाँधकर लटका दिया हो तो उस स्थान पर बैठा व्यक्ति उतने स्थान को ही देख पाता है, वहाँ से उठकर चले जाने पर प्रकाश साथ नहीं जाता। इसी प्रकार अनानुगामिक अवधिज्ञान समझें । ( सूत्र ९ )

३. वर्द्धमान अवधिज्ञान - जिस प्रकार प्रज्वलित अग्नि में ईंधन डालने से वह बढ़ती रहती है, उसी प्रकार ज्यों-ज्यों भावों की विशुद्धि बढ़ती है त्यों-त्यों अवधिज्ञान भी वृद्धिंगत होता है। (सूत्र ४. हीयमान अवधिज्ञान - जलती अग्नि में ईंधन कम होने पर वह बुझने लगती है, उसी प्रकार परिणामों की विशुद्धि घटने पर अवधिज्ञान क्षीण होता जाता है। (सूत्र ९ )
५. प्रतिपातिक अवधिज्ञान - दीपक में तेल नहीं रहने पर वह बुझ जाता है, उसीप्रकार भावों की संक्लिष्टता कारण अवधिज्ञान भी लुप्त हो जाता है। (सूत्र ९)
६. केवलज्ञान का स्वरूप - जैसे सूर्य का प्रकाश किसी के आश्रित नहीं रहकर अपना ही प्रकाश होता है, और वह अंधकार से कभी मिश्रित नहीं है। आकाश में बादलों, पहाड़ों, वृक्षों आदि से वह ढका नहीं जा सकता, इसी प्रकार आत्म-आश्रित केवलज्ञान का प्रकाश किसी अन्य आवरण से मंद नहीं हो सकता । (सूत्र २० )
(2) TYPES OF ANANUGAMIK AVADHI-JNANA
1. Moving around a source of light – When a fire is lit at some spot and person moves around it, he can see only the area illuminated by that light 5 The light does not move with him. (12)

2. A hanging lamp--When a lamp is lit and it is hung by cord, a person near this lamp sees only the area illuminated by this lamp If he moves away, the does not move with him These are the examples that explain the 5 scope of ananugamik avadhi - jnana ( 9 )
3. Vardhaman Avadhi- jnana- When fuel is added to a fire its intensity increases On the same way as the purity of attitudes increases the avadhi5 Jnana keeps on increasing. (9)

4. Heeyaman Avadhi-jnana-When fuel is consumed the intensity a fire is gradually reduced. In the same way when the purity of attitudes reduces the avadhi-jnana also reduces (9)

5 Pratipatik Avadhi-jnana-In absence of oil a lamp gets extinguished the same way due to pervert attitudes avadhi-jnana becomes extinct. (9) 6 Kewal - jnana-Sun is not dependent on any fuel, it is a primary source light. Its light is neither contaminated with darkness nor does it remain obscured by clouds, mountains, or trees. In the same way the light of the soul based Kewal-jnana can never be obscured by any veil. (20)
