२२५. साधु-साध्वी जाने यदि कोई वस्त्र अण्डों से यावत् मकड़ी के जालों से युक्त है ७. तो उस वस्त्र को अप्रासुक एवं अनेषणीय मानकर ग्रहण न करे। ACCEPTABLE AND UNACCEPTABLE CLOTHES
225. A bhikshu or bhikshuni should find if a cloth is infested with insect-eggs (etc. up to cobwebs). If it is so the ascetic should refuse to take it considering it to be faulty and unacceptable.
२२६. से भिक्खू वा २ से जं पुण वत्थं जाणेज्जा-अप्पंडं जाव अप्प संताणगं अणलं अथिरं अधुवं अधारणिज्जं रोइज्जंतं ण रुच्चइ, तहप्पगारं वत्थं अफासुयं जाव णो पडिगाहेज्जा।
२२६. साधु-साध्वी यदि जाने कि यह वस्त्र अण्डों से यावत् मकड़ी के जालों से तो रहित है, किन्तु उपयोगलायक नहीं है। अस्थिर-(टिकाऊ नहीं) है या जीर्ण है, अध्रुव(दाता थोड़े समय के लिए दे रहा है) धारण करने के योग्य नहीं है, सुन्दर वस्त्र होने पर भी दाता अथवा साधु की उसमें रुचि न हो, तो उस प्रकार के वस्त्र को भी ग्रहण न करे। ___226. If a bhikshu or bhikshuni finds that a cloth is not infested with insect-eggs (etc. up to cobwebs) but is useless because of being not lasting, worn-out, given for a short period, not suitable to wear and good but not to the liking of the donor or the ascetic. In such case the ascetic should refuse to take it considering it to be faulty and unacceptable.
२२७. से भिक्खू वा २ से जं पुण वत्थं जाणेज्जा-अप्पंडं जाव अप्प संताणयं अलं थिरं धुवं धारणिज्ज। रोइज्जतं रुच्चइ, तहप्पगारं वत्थं फासुयं जाव पडिगाहेज्जा।
२२७. साधु-साध्वी जाने, जो वस्त्र अण्डों से यावत् मकड़ी के जालों से रहित है, साथ ही अभीष्ट कार्य करने में समर्थ, स्थिर, ध्रुव, धारण करने योग्य है दाता की देने में रुचि है, साधु के लिए भी कल्पनीय हो तो उस प्रकार के वस्त्र को प्रासुक और एषणीय समझकर ग्रहण कर सकता है।
227. If a bhikshu or bhikshuni finds that a cloth is not to infested with insect-eggs (etc. up to cobwebs) and is also useful,
lasting, not worn-out, being given for good, suitable to wear, good and to the liking of both the donor and the ascetic. In such case आचारांग सूत्र (भाग २)
