lessons. • The first lesson contains information about his daily routine; the
second about his bed (the place of stay and posture); the third about the afflictions and torments endured by him; and the fourth about the treatment he took when tormented by hunger, etc. This chapter contains a vivid description of the superlative spiritual practices of Bhagavan. Most of his time was spent in meditation. He meditated continuously for extended periods in numerous postures in complete solitude. With all this is given the electrifying account of Bhagavan's unprecedented capacity to endure afflictions and torments.
