पृथ्वीकाय के शस्त्र
“जमिणं विरूव रूवेहिं सत्थेहिं पुढवि कम्म समारंभेणं।" अनेक मनुष्य विविध प्रकार के साधनों से पृथ्वीकाय की हिंसा करते हैं जो पृथ्वीकाय के शस्त्र कहे गये हैं। जैसे१. कुदाली-कुदाली, फावड़ा आदि से जमीन की मिट्टी खोदने से इस काय के जीवों की हिंसा
होती है। २. हल-हल आदि से भूमि जोतने पर। ३. अग्नि-सचित्त पृथ्वी पर अग्नि जलाने से। ४. जल, क्षार आदि-इस प्रकार के विरोधी द्रव्य सचित्त पृथ्वी में मिलाने पर उन जीवों की हिंसा
होती है। ५. उच्चार प्रस्रवण-मानव व पशु आदि का मल-मूत्र सचित्त पृथ्वी पर गिरने से। ६. स्वकाय-शस्त्र-एक जाति की मिट्टी में दूसरी जाति की मिट्टी मिलने पर।
