फिर ७ दिन तक अर्बुद के रूप में बनना, तब अर्बुद से पेशी बनना और पेशी से घन माँसपेशी तक बनना अभिसंजात कहलाता है। उसके पश्चात् क्रमशः अंग, प्रत्यंग, स्नायु, सिरा,
रोम आदि का निष्पन्न होना अभिनिवृत्त कहलाता है। ____ उसके पश्चात् माता-पिता के गर्भ से उसका प्रसव (जन्म) होने से लेकर समझदार होने (आठ वर्ष) तक संवर्धन होना अभिसंवृद्ध कहलाता है।
इसके अनन्तर धर्म-श्रवण करने योग्य अवस्था पाकर पूर्व पुण्य के फलस्वरूप धर्मकथा सुनकर पुण्य-पापादि तत्त्वों को भलीभाँति जानना, संसार के स्वरूप का बोध प्राप्त करना अभिसम्बुद्ध बनना कहलाता है। आठ वर्ष से सौ वर्ष तक की अवस्था अभिसम्बुद्ध अवस्था हो सकती है। तीर्थंकर अभिषेक काल से ही अभिसम्बुद्ध होते हैं। ____ अभिनिष्क्रान्त-इसके पश्चात् घर-परिवार आदि सब का परित्याग करके मुनि धर्म पालन के लिए अभिनिष्क्रमण करना अभिनिष्क्रान्त कहलाता है। दीक्षा लेने के बाद गुरु के सान्निध्य में शास्त्रों का गहन अध्ययन, रत्नत्रय की साधना आदि के द्वारा चारित्र के परिणामों में वृद्धि करना और क्रमशः गीतार्थ, स्थविर, क्षपक, श्रेणी परिहार-विशुद्धि आदि उत्तम अवस्थाओं को प्राप्त करना भी अभिनिष्क्रान्त कोटि में आता है। यही धुत बनने की यात्रा है।
Elaboration—The topic of this chapter is the cleansed. In preceding 'aphorisms it has been mentioned, in context of becoming cleansed, that a being is terrified by grief in the form of birth, death, ageing and ailment. The cause of these is karma. The root cause of bond of karmas is attachment. Therefore all emphasis has been laid on abandoning attachment.
The commentator (Vritti) defines dhut (cleansed) as-he who has commenced his efforts to shake off eight types of karma with the help of austerities and discipline, and has renounced his clan and family. The commentator (Churni) says-one who has vibrated the karizas with the help of austerities is dhut. The process of becoming cleansed has been described in this aphorism in stages of development. A being is born in various clans depending upon his karmas. From this point six stages of development, before one becomes cleansed, have been mentioned in this aphorism. These six stages are as follows
According to his karmas when a soul descends in a womb, after impregnation of ovum by sperm it remains in the fertilized state for आचारांग सूत्र
